Restoration Community Outreach: This loan in the amount of $25,000, secured by the homeless shelter to aid the work of the shelter, closed on September 16, 2014 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Restoration Community Outreach is a non-profit organization that provides shelter and ancillary services for the homeless, for those recently released from incarceration, and recovering addicts via several different programs. They have a short-term emergency shelter that can house up to 30 men. There is also a short-term emergency shelter that can accommodate 10 VA approved veterans to stay until they are approved for permanent housing through the VA’s HUD-VASH voucher program.

The Center has a Transitional Housing program with 8 private/semi-private rooms where residents can reside for up to two years. This program is designed to help men transition back to traditional housing by allowing them to save money to use toward housing costs or to improve their potential to obtain gainful employment by providing low-cost housing while they attend school.
