Jane Carpenter, Director of Investor and Donor Relations is retiring.

It is with mixed emotions and sincere gratitude for her service we announce the retirement of Jane Carpenter,  Director of Investor and Donor Relations, at the end of June.

Jane has worked for social and economic justice for more than 30 years, beginning her career with the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. In 1988, she helped to create material and set up tours for the General Convention of the Episcopal Church held in Detroit. This led to overwhelming support for a national program of community investment and ultimately to the creation of the Bishop H. Coleman McGehee Economic Justice Fund where Jane served in many capacities including Office Manager, Operations Manager and Investor Relations, until the merge with Opportunity Resource Fund in 2004.  She continued her career as Director of Investor and Donor Relations for the next 13 years with Opportunity Resource Fund.   Jane's retirement plans are to continue volunteer work with her favorite, local, food and housing ministries, spend more time with family and indulge her passion for shooting skeet.

Please plan to join us as we honor and thank Jane on Thursday, June 22, 2017 for many years as a colleague, leader, friend and mentor at the Port Authority – Waterview Lofts to celebrate Jane's retirement. Details will follow shortly.

On behalf of our Board of Trustees, Advisory Councils and staff team, we extend our deep appreciation for Jane’s selfless service and dedication to social and economic justice. We extend our wishes to Jane for a wonderful, fulfilling, and well-deserved retirement!
